The Right Breed was hatched (pun intended) from the idea that people who have pets or care for animals have a special sensitivity that they look for in others. Oftentimes, you will find that you can be rejected by someone on other dating sites simply because you own a pet. I found myself in that position more than once and thus, the idea for The Right Breed was born.   

Here at TRB, you can meet other people with whom you have a great affinity; namely the love of a certain type or breed of animal or all animals in general. You can befriend others simply because of their pet or you can use it strictly as an online dating site and look for someone that you are attracted to and can ultimately build a relationship with.

However,  it should be noted that TRB has an additional underlying motive. It is our hope to be able to fund the adoption of homeless animals by the disabled, elderly, veterans and seriously ill children. By paying the costs for the adoption such as spaying/neutering, vaccines and initial food supply, we can find loving homes for abandoned pets by people that could truly benefit from the therapeutic love and attention that a pet can give.

So go and enjoy yourself on our site, make friends for your pet and yourself and hopefully you can find that special someone who shares that common interest with you.
